wine friday: landing place chardonnay.

Dear Fall Weather:

Please come quick.  I’m ready for red wine.

Your friend in all things apples and pumpkins and stews,

Kelly

For your consideration:  Landing Place Chardonnay

From winemaker Rodney Strong, this is a fabulous Chardonnay for the price and one that pairs quite well with chicken, shellfish or salmon.  It is medium bodied with hints of apple and lemon, but is also creamy with just a little touch of oak.  Also, Landing Place grows its grapes in sustainably certified vineyards, produced in a solar powered and carbon neutral winery.  I like that!

$2.99 at Trader Joes or various grocery stores (though I believe the cost may be higher at other stores).

    • Hm…I’ll have to look for that one. I understand some stores carry different brands. How was the SB one?
